This is by far the best hotel in Portsmouth to stay the facilities that they offer and the location are perfect whether you want a chill out or a lively night the area offers everything and the hotel is always clean the hosts are lovely and what they offer is amazing would 💯 stay again and this is my third stay here love it.

Ashby's was really a wonderful place to stay. Mubi and Steve were really helpful. We got a full tour of the property on our arrival. Rooms were great, best part was the games area which we and our kids loved a lot. We will surely visit again.

Ashby’s is one of the best and most friendliest places I’ve stayed at. As a regular visitor, the place has all the facilities required including a fully functioning kitchen. The rooms are alway immaculate and the owners are the nicest people, always willing to help. I love that I get to stay here on a regular basis.

Absolutely, hands down, the BEST accommodation in Portsmouth. Words cannot express how awesome our Hosts at Ashby’s were. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, spacious tiled bathroom and our room had everything we needed - and more! Thank you for having us Ashbys, I’m giving you 100/10. It was a pleasure staying with you.

Great hotel in an Amazing location, hosts were very friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t use it the spa and lounge area looked amazing. Rooms it’s was nice and looked good, only downside was being up a very narrow small flight of stairs but I didn’t realise I had booked that room in particular. Would stay again, very nice.

Since our first stay, every other time spent in Ashby's has been a pleasure. The most glamorous rooms, which differs from a lovely cozy standard room till wonderfully designed apartments, including all communal areas . Place where attention has been spent on every single detail. Even more amazes the prices which are more than affordable for the service. Lovely and amazing owners. This is the best stay we ever choose and continue to return.

Excellent accommodation for a large group. We were a group of 20 for a stag. Rented the entire hotel with everything you need and loads of entertainment. Located right next to loads of bars and nightclubs. Perfect place for a stag. Hosts were amazing and very good at communicating with else. I would highly recommend.
